January 2025

Thursday 23rd January : Canteen Management 

In this session we will highlight the process to create and publish your School menus within the Canteen Management module. In addition to adding menu items and setting availability, we will demonstrate how you can add allowances for Free School Meal eligibility, run order reports and check students' Wallet balances*.

*Please note: School lunch preorders by parents and Lunch Registers will have the same configuration but may require parents to top up a Wallet balance. We will run through these options in the session. 


Thursday 30th January : Clubs

In this session we will demonstrate how to use the Clubs module including, setting up and managing a club, paying for clubs, and using childcare vouchers.

February 2025

Thursday 6th February : Spring Webinar Series - Introduction to Compass 

The first session of the Onboarding Phase of Training for our new schools (current schools also welcome!).
During this Introduction to Compass, we will cover the fundamentals of navigating your Compass portal to set you up for the remaining onboarding training sessions. We will touch on:
  1. Your Compass Home Page
  2. Register Marking
  3. Class Pages
  4. Student Profile Pages
  5. Compass Comms 
  6. Support Resources

Thursday 13th February : Spring Webinar Series - Admin Essentials Part A 

The next focus session for Administrative and Office staff for day-to-day tasks including managing records, keeping them up to date and running relevant reports on information.


Thursday 27th February : Spring Webinar Series - Admin Essentials Part B

A focus session on the main duties of your Administrative and Office team including logging, monitoring and recording Attendance. 


March 2025

Thursday 6th March : Spring Webinar Series - Reporting in Compass 

During this session we will demonstrate how to create key reports in:
- Student Profile Pages for individual attendance
- the Attendance Module for detailed Attendance data, emergency reports and unexplained absences
- People Management to export medical details, create customised CSV reports and Census
We will also demonstrate the capabilities of our data and analytics module, Pulse, for viewing and analysing your school data and information


Thursday 13th March : Spring Webinar Series - Assessment Management

During this session we will demonstrate how to utilise the Assessment Management module by creating Master Assessments tasks for formative and summative assessments.
Statutory Assessments are available by default in your portal but create custom processes to be graded by Teachers from their Class Pages.

We will also demonstrate how to create Markbooks for analysis and how to pull these into the Pulse module
